1. Nationality

  • Must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
  • Refugees from Tibet (before Jan 1, 1962) or migrants from certain countries (like Pakistan, Burma) with the intention of permanent settlement in India may also apply.

2. Age Limit (as per the specific post):

  • 18 to 25 years (i.e., born between 02-01-2000 and 01-01-2006).
  • 18 to 27 years for some departments (like CBN under Dept. of Revenue).

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years

SSC MTS includes Group ‘C’ non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in various ministries and departments of the Government of India.

The SSC MTS 2025 exam consists of Paper-I, a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), and Paper-II, a Descriptive Test. Here’s the detailed pattern:
